Hi, I´m Allison Ford,

this is my influencer blog for COM 210 at Washington State University Vancouver. I am a junior pursuing a B.A. in Integrated Strategic Communication at the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. I have a specific interest in public relations. I hope to take the skills I have learned and enact positive change on others, along with my community.

I am from Beaverton, Oregon and moved to Vancouver, Washington when I was five. I have grown up in a biracial family. My dad is African American and my mom is Caucasian. Growing up in a multicultural family has taught me a lot about how we should be doing everything we can to empower people of all backgrounds.

In the future I hope to promote diversity and acceptance. I think that it’s important to find a way to incorporate positive change into the work that you do.

The purpose of this blog is to discuss present and upcoming movies that have produced a particular interest in the public, along with ones that have solidified themselves as becoming significant in pop culture.
